Critical Access Hospitals may report HOP QDRP data

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced that Critical Access Hospitals and other hospitals not originally included in the Hospital Outpatient Quality Data Reporting Program (HOP QDRP) may voluntarily submit data beginning with First Quarter 2009 encounters.

To participate in HOP QDRP, hospitals must first complete the Notice of Participation form (which must be received by the Support Contractor no later than January 31, 2009) and complete QualityNet registration.

  2. Select Internet Options from the drop-down menu.
  3. From the dialog box, choose the Security tab.
  4. Click on Custom Level.
  5. Set Active Scripting to Enable.
  6. Click OK to close the custom settings dialog.
  7. Click OK to close the Options dialog.
